[Aims and Scope]
Enhancing seismic performance of urban infrastructures is essential to mitigate loss of function of urban areas during and after a significant earthquake. Seismic design of urban infrastructures is an important part of securing the seismic performance of urban infrastructures. Emphasis of this lecture will be placed on the seismic design of transportation facilities including bridges and underground structures in soft soil deposits.[Outline] [Evaluation] Report and Examination[Text] Original texts are provided by the lecturer. They can be downloaded from HP.[Prerequisites] Require basic knowledge on structural analysis and dynamics of structure |
