Although in Japan as earthquake prone country, many tall buildings exceeding 1000 have been built in these 40 years. Many structural systems and forms, new structural materials, computer analysis technology and experiences of earthquakes etc are in the progress of the structural design of tall buildings. Topics dealt in this course include:
