Application for the Research Fund for Young Researchers under Global COE Program
- OUTLINE OF THE RESEARCH FUND
The purpose of this research fund is to provide opportunities for young researchers to conduct research more freely related to the Global COE Program "International Urban Earthquake Engineering Center for Mitigating Seismic Mega Risk".
- NUMBER OF FELLOWSHIPS AWARDED
- Up to 20
- APPLICATION ELIGIBILITY
Those who wish to apply for this research fund must be students of doctorate course in the five Departments comprising the Global COE Program or postdoctoral students. The applicant must be able to conduct research related to the Global COE Program "International Urban Earthquake Engineering Center for Mitigating Seismic Mega Risk". Those who are aided by another grant under the same research theme cannot apply for this fund.
- AMOUNT OF RESEARCH FUND
Up to 1,500,000 JPY
- APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Applications for this research fund must be submitted to one of the offices indicated below.
Materials to be prepared by the applicant and submitted to the office:- Application Form (YG) to be filled in by applicant
- Related documents for the details of the research plan if needed
- A PDF-file of the above two (to be sent to apply@cuee.titech.ac.jp)
If you are aided by another research fund, please inform us the name, research theme and amount of it. Those who will not apply Postdoctoral Fellowship or Research Assistant under Global COE Program with this research fund, please submit us the list of research achievement.
- APPLICATION DEADLINE
- The deadline for the application is August 29th, 2008, till 5pm (JST).
- SELECTION PROCESS
After documentary screening and interview, the applicant will be informed of the final result directly.
