Now available collaboration between Pacific Earthquake Engineering Research Center (PEER) and Center for Urban Earthquake Engineering (CUEE)

Based on the Memorandum between PEER and CUEE of March 2008, CUEE is able to offer the following international exchange activities for professors, young researchers and doctoral students belonging to either center. 

(1) Invitation and hiring of researchers as Visiting Professors to collaborate with us (several weeks to several months) and to participate in our educational and research program as well as joint research.
(2) Invitation and hiring of researchers as Postdoctoral Fellows/Visiting Assistant Professors to collaborate with us (ideally for one/two years but at least for half a year) and to participate in our research/educational program as well as joint research.   http://www.cuee.titech.ac.jp/English/Openings/h21/Info/pd.html
(3) Support for several Doctoral Students to collaborate with us (ideally for one to several months) and to participate in our research program as well as joint research.
(4) Travel support for certain overseas participants actively involved in an event (international conference or a young researcher/student workshop/seminar) organized by either or both centers.
(5) Funding for CUEE affiliated members including Professors, Young Researchers, and Doctoral Students who wish to participate in activities similar to those described in (1) to (4).

A similar arrangement of international cooperation shall be expanded to other organizations in North America, Central America, South America, Asia, Oceania, and Europe, generating an international network of education and research in earthquake engineering.
