- OUTLINE OF THE FELLOWSHIP
The purpose of this fellowship is to provide opportunities for the students of doctorate course to conduct research related to the Global COE Program “International Urban Earthquake Engineering Center for Mitigating Seismic Mega Risk”.

- APPLICATION ELIGIBILITY
The applicant must be a full-time student of doctorate course in the five departments comprising the Global COE program, and be able to conduct research related to the Global COE Program “International Urban Earthquake Engineering Center for Mitigating Seismic Mega Risk”. Those who are receiving or will receive other financial support are not eligible to apply.
- DURATION AND TERMS OF FELLOWSHIPS
- 2008 Recruitment: From Sept. 1st, 2008 (or earliest possible time) to March 31st, 2009.
- The amount of the fellowship will be about 100,000-200,000 yen/month (1,000,000-2,500,000
yen/year) depending on the quality of research proposal and research achievement.
- APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Applications for this program must be submitted to one of the offices indicated below.

- APPLICATION DEADLINE
- The deadline for the application is August 7th, 2008, till 5pm (JST).
If the positions are not filled by the deadline, we will continue receiving application until the positions are filled. Please contact the CUEE office for further information.
- SELECTION PROCESS
After documentary screening and interview, the applicant will be informed of the final result directly.
