Hyogo Earthquake Engineering Research Center complies with the law (Law No. 59, 2003) related to the protection of privacy owned by independent administrative corporations and other relevant ordinances in the collection, use and control of privacy, and handles such information appropriately as shown below.

At this site, the minimum amount of privacy required is collected for the following purposes.
1) Measures taken for inquiries and requests
2) Operation and management of contest - Securing Safety
Leak, omission and modification of the privacy so collected shall be prevented, and such privacy shall be controlled strictly. - Restricted Use and Provision
Unless specified in the ordinances, the privacy so collected shall not be used for any purpose other than specified previously, or disclosed or provided to any third party.
